Our goal is to deliver the power of open source software to Maithili community. We aim to create a fully localized version of GNU/Linux operating system in Maithili language. The Maithili Computing Research Center projects will allow user to:

• Use computer in Maithili Language.
• Send and receive email in Maithili.
• Surf Internet in Maithili language.
• Create, save and print documents in Maithili.
• Can be able to chat in Maithili.

To achieve this we are going to work on the following projetcs:
